Annette Moloney will be back with us shortly for an online workshop on Writing Creative Proposals This practical workshop is suitable for practitioners from all artforms, so if you are a visual artist, musician, writer, architect, theatre producer, designer/ maker or dancer and you have an upcoming project or funding deadline, or intend to make one in the future, the day will be a great opportunity to build your capacity in this area.
The workshop will include a presentation and conversation on best practice in writing proposals and applications and cover hints and tips in developing proposals; a discussion on some ‘watch-out-fors’ and common pitfalls; observations on selection processes and panels as well as selection criteria; advice on sample headings to communicate ideas clearly and creatively; suggestions for supporting documentation as well as advice on time management and the dangers of procrastination.
A series of one-on-one clinics are available for artists to participate in the afternoon or at a later date. Written material or proposals can be submitted beforehand to be discussed and reviewed by Annette. It’s required that you attend the workshop to avail of these mentoring sessions. Clinics can be booked by emailing lryan@leitrimcoco.ie
