CALLING ALL LEITRIM MUSICIANS!
You are invited to a workshop exploring digital opportunities for your music with First Music Contact on Wednesday next, Febuary 23rd form 5 – 7pm. This workshop is part of a regional music development programme being run by FMC in partnership with Leitrim Arts Office.
Following an inital questionaire that was circulated to musicians in the region Leitrim musicians stated that they wanted to get practical advice on how to develop a digital strategy and explore online opportunities for their music in a follow up session. To that end, First Music Contact have arranged a workshop to be delivered by Ceri Dixon who has delivered Digital Strategies for Hozier, Alex Gough and others.
In the second part of the workshop the Arts Office will host a conversation between you, the Artist and the local Arts Office to assess the needs of musicians in the county and how we can all work together to deliver on these needs. We will also discuss funding and supports that are available from the Arts Office inclucing the Live Music Performace Scheme.
