Over the two days of drawing participants will respond to the materials in the Andrew Kearney exhibition Mechanism. Using sight perception as a method of observation, participants will develop traditional drawing skills and techniques through drawing the largescale installations set in the architectural space of The Dock. Participants will develop their skills through drawing with various dry drawing materials and learn informal perspective drawing. The workshop will be led by artists Kiera O’ Toole who will demonstrate various techniques, studio skills and discussions around drawing practices.
