This course is ideal for emerging writers wishing to run workshops and also for more experienced facilitators wishing to further their andragogy skills.
This Train-the-Trainer course will give you the necessary teaching skills to effectively deliver your material and knowledge to groups, whatever your subject specialism might be.
Topics covered;
Materials and resources, planning, learning outcomes, course outlines, methodologies, theories, ethics, evaluations. Learning styles and psychology of learning. Integrated literacy, embedded counselling, inclusion, gender and power etc.
Lynn Buckle gained her post-grad level 9 award in Adult & Community Education from NUI Maynooth. She has been designing and delivering education programmes and workshops to adults and children for over 30 years, alongside her professional practice as a commercial artist and published author of literary fiction (The Groundsmen) and poetry (Luisne an Chleite group anthology).
It would be helpful if attendees submitted a brief bio of their teaching experience (if any) via the IWC in advance of the course.
