Culture Moves Europe provides mobility grants for artists and cultural professionals in all 40 creative Europe countries. It covers the sectors of architecture, cultural heritage, design and fashion design, literary translation, music, performing arts and visual arts. With a budget of €21 million, culture moves Europe offers mobility grants to around 7.000 artists, cultural professionals and host organisations from 2022 to 2025.

The scheme consists of two action lines: individual mobility (for individuals and groups) and residencies. You can apply with a proposal to carry out a project with a partner of your choice in a Creative Europe country which is not your country of residence.

The project should pursue one of the following goals:
• to explore: To explore Europe’s rich cultural heritage to inform, direct or inspire your creativity
• to create: To co-create or co-develop art with artists or cultural professionals from other countries
• to learn: To participate in non-formal learning
• to connect: To develop or deepen your international professional relationships

This workshop, hosted by Creative Frame, will be facilitated by Katie Lowry from the Culture Europe Desk Ireland at the Arts Council. Culture Moves Deadline is May 31st

Katie Lowry is part-time Head of Desk at the Creative Europe Desk Ireland – Culture Office. She has over 18 years’ experience working in the arts in Ireland. After 6 years in the Irish Film Board (now Screen Ireland) she worked as an independent arts consultant before joining the International Department in the Arts Council in 2008.

Along with her work in the Creative Europe Desk, Katie work as Support Manager on the Young People, Children and Education Team in the Arts Council.

Creative Europe Desk Ireland Culture Office promotes funding available under the Creative Europe Programme 2021 – 2027 through workshops, seminars and sector events. We provide information, advice and technical assistance to anyone in Ireland planning applications to Creative Europe.
