Due to popular demand Creative Frame in association with the National Youth Council of Ireland will present a second child protection awareness programme this May. It is increasingly essential that anyone working with youth groups are aware of the responsibilities they have for safeguarding the wellbeing of the young people in their groups. This four hour basic awareness course designed by the National Youth Council of Ireland is the standardised child protection training programme for the youth work sector. It aims to create a basic awareness about the key issues in relation to child protection.
The workshop is suitable for artists of any discipline who intend to work with children and young people in the future and also for artists who may currently be working in this regard and feel they need to update their Child Protection and Awareness Training.
The workshop will be delivered by Anna Gunning, National Child Protection Manager at the National Youth Council of Ireland. Participants will receive certification from the NYCI on completion of the training.
